With more than 20 years of experience, as a Doctor of Audiology her goal is to effectively combine her clinical knowledge, her diagnostic experience and her joy in helping others to improve the hearing health of her patients. This passion is manifested in the dedication she gives to each and every patient.
Dr. Romano has been awarded the prestigious designation from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) as an AAA scholar. Her passion for learning and continuous education has kept her at the forefront of advances in hearing health. “Exciting technologies such as Bluetooth connectivity that stream telephone calls, television and other audio devices directly to one’s hearing aids is currently available. The soon to be released iPhone and hearing aid application will allow the hearing impaired individual the ability to more finely tune to the specific environments in which each patient finds themselves. Technology is changing in leaps and bounds,” says Romano.
Dr. Romano understands that facing hearing loss can be difficult. Using a Patient Centered Approach she will work with each individual to formulate a hearing solution that is specific to ones needs utilizing a variety of the industries’ top hearing aid brands. Finding the solution to each person’s problems is her sole focus. She offers a generous 75 day trial period on all hearing aids purchased. Follow-up visits, batteries and comprehensive warranties are also included.
Dr. Romano gives back to the community by providing complementary hearing screenings to various institutions. She partners with a host of non-profit organizations to dispense hearing aids to those in need. She has built a strong doctor-referral base in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
